- How long does shipping take?
- Orders placed before 2pm ET ship the same business day from our US warehouse. Standard delivery is typically 3–7 business days. Shipping is free on every order.
- What is the return policy?
- You have 30 days from delivery to return the device for a refund. It must be in returnable condition with all accessories. Contact support and we will issue return instructions.
- Is there a warranty?
- Yes — a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects. If the unit fails in normal use within that period we replace it.
- Are radar detectors legal where I live?
- They are legal in 48 states for privately-owned passenger vehicles and prohibited in Virginia and Washington, D.C. They are also prohibited in commercial vehicles over 10,000 lbs and on military bases.
- Does McFlash need an app or subscription?
- No. There is no account, no app requirement and no recurring fee. It powers from the 12V socket and works out of the box.
- How do I install it?
- Suction-mount it high and centred on the windshield (or on the dashboard where windshield mounting is restricted), route the cable to the 12V socket, and set highway or city mode. It takes about two minutes.
- Will it false-alarm constantly?
- City mode suppresses the short-range K-band signals from automatic doors and blind-spot monitors that cause most false alerts. On the highway, switch to highway mode for full range.
- Is my payment secure?
- Yes. Card details are entered on an encrypted payment page handled by our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
- Can I use one detector in multiple cars?
- Yes. The suction mount releases cleanly, so you can move it between vehicles in seconds. Households with two drivers on the road at once usually take a multi-unit bundle.
- What if the device arrives damaged?
- Contact support with a photo within 30 days and we will replace it. Adding delivery protection at checkout also covers loss or damage in transit.
